the restoration of this film is INSANE. i previously tried to watch it like 3 different times and couldn’t find a way into it past the misty grey opening. it turns out there was a beautiful movie under that impenetrable fog!!! i don’t have a single clue what happens nor why michael mann made a nazisploitation version of ridley scott’s legend but at least i can finally see the frames
